The “Blast to the Past 5K” is held annually to support the East Troy Area Historical Society and the East Troy HIgh School Cross Country Team. The ETAHS exists for the purpose of educating the public about the history of East Troy, Troy, Troy Center, La Fayette, Spring Prairie, and the Troy Lakes area, and for preserving artifacts from these communities for the benefit of all of its citizens. The ETAHS is an independent, accredited 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that operates based upon the donation and the efforts of volunteer members, as well as through special events. Membership is open to all interested citizens.

The course is a rolling closure. In the event runners/walkers fall behind the police sweep vehicle they will be required to move to the sidewalk.

The race is chip timed by Silver Circle Sports Events, LLC.
There is one aid station on course. At the finish line, light snacks are available thanks to the East Troy Historical Society & East Troy Cross Country Team.
All runners registered by noon August 12nd will be guaranteed a custom gender specific dry wick shirt.
Parking is avaialble at the start / finish line.

Take exit 36 for WI-120 toward E Troy/Lake Geneva
Turn right onto WI-120/State Rd 120 (signs for E Troy/County Rd G N)
Continue onto Church St
At the traffic circle, take the 3rd exit onto Walworth ES/Main St
Turn right onto Townline Rd
Turn right on Graydon
Destination will be on the left
Refunds are not permitted for any reason.
The event will be held unless severe weather occurs. In the event of severe weather, the race director may delay or cancel the event. If the event is canceled, there will be no refunds.
